Geometric Candles for Beginners
In this tutorial you'll learn how to use the Geometric Candle Starter Kit to create beautiful faceted candles at home — no previous experience required.
Prepare your workspace
Lay out all kit contents on a clean surface. Have a pot, thermometer and the provided stir sticks ready. Protect surfaces with newspaper.
Melt the soy wax
Place wax flakes in a double boiler or microwave-safe jug. Heat to 70–75°C. Stir gently until fully melted and clear.
Add fragrance
Remove from heat and let cool to 60°C. Add 10ml of the included fragrance oil and stir slowly for 2 minutes to fully incorporate.
Set the wicks
Place pre-waxed wicks into each mould cavity, centred. Use the wooden stir stick across the top to keep wicks straight.
Pour and set
Pour wax at 55–60°C into the silicone moulds. Fill to just below the top. Leave undisturbed for 4 hours or overnight.
Demould and trim
Gently flex the silicone mould to release the candles. Trim wicks to 5mm. Your geometric candles are ready.
