Silicone moulds are reusable tools, but sharp scraping, high heat, and oily residue will shorten their working life fast.

Wash moulds with mild soap and warm water after each use. Let them air-dry fully before storage so trapped moisture does not mark the surface.

Store moulds flat or loosely supported. Folding a detailed mould for long periods can create pressure marks that show up in the next cast.
